I am honored to be invited into the most special moments of your life, making sure that you feel like the most lovely and polished version of yourself. I’ve heard time and time again that I am a great listener and a calming presence in the midst of a hectic day. (I love that!) I take my role very seriously and take pride in knowing you’re a little more at ease because I’m on the scene.

 

One of my most favorite moments is the instant that a woman looks into the mirror and beams at herself, and I know that she feels absolutely beautiful inside and out. THAT moment is why I do what I do.

I’m a Hollywood-trained, Atlanta-based makeup artist devoted to offering stellar on-site hair and makeup services. I live in Decatur, but I travel all over the city to meet you where you need me to be. I’ve been in the business for fifteen years, since I had an epiphany after seeing a classifieds listing for a makeup artist. The light bulb went off, and I thought, “I would LOVE this!” I was living in San Diego at the time, so I just scooted on up the coast and went to makeup school. And loved it, of course.

I have had a love of all things creative since childhood, which led me to a career in the art world (after I realized that all of those “you-can’t-survive-with-a-degree-in-art” rumors weren’t true). My background in painting has given me an instinctive understanding of color theory and texture that translates well onto the human canvas.

I love, love, love color and the amazing, transformative nature of makeup. You can completely remake someone, or you can use very subtle techniques to enhance the natural beauty that each and every one of us has. (Or camouflage those tiny little flaws that {very unfortunately but seemingly unavoidably} each of us finds in ourselves.)

I have seen many of my clients grow from singles to couples to brides to moms, and I love being there every step of the way. From engagement pictures to maternity portraits through years of family photos, I am so grateful to be a part of your most cherished memories.
